Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc.

On Tuesday May 5^th  2009, Gulfstream Goodwill Industries, Inc. received a proclamation from the City of West Palm Beach honoring the organization for National Goodwill Week. The proclamation was presented by Commissioner Steven Abrams and accepted by John Banister, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Cal Miller, V.P. of Marketing and James Bennett, Goodwill International’s Achiever of the Year. James spoke before the commissioners and briefly explained how coming to Goodwill changed his life.

Gulfstream Goodwill Industries continues to increase services and maximize resources in an effort to become more efficient and provide more services.The growth and efficiency in the use of resources has been exceptional. Gulfstream Goodwill Industries is a good steward of the donations provided by the community.

 Although revenues have grown with the renovation and expansion of the retail operations program, human services and individual job placements have moved forward at a much faster rate.

Increased revenues from all possible sources translate into additional income to serve the mission,“helping people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to become selfsufficient, working members of the community.”
